Do you take card payments? More and more people are carrying less cash and using debit cards and other ways to pay and that number is set to get bigger.
The move by customers of all retail shops and payments to using debit cards is on the rise. More than 50% of all payments now made are cashless. There is also a rise in using contactless cards for transactions under £30.
Barclaycard said the biggest increase in contactless payments has been among Britain’s over-60s, with the number of users up 116% over the past year – more than any other age group.
