RETAIL MARKETS SURVEY

Now in its second year, NABMA and the NMTF are working together to undertake a major survey of the markets sector as part of the Mission for Markets campaign (www.mission4markets.uk).

It is very important that all our members support this survey as we need to be able to demonstrate the economic value of markets in the UK and we need to keep the information as up to date as possible. This survey will give us the ammunition we need to lobby the Government for support and investment. It will also help individual members plan for the future and make informed decisions about investment and strategy.

This year we particularly need the information on rental issues as there is to be a new Valuation List in 2017 and it is vital we have an indication of how rental levels in markets are performing.

The link for the market traders survey is also shown below. A prize of one year’s NMTF membership is on offer to the winner of the traders draw.

Responses are anonymous. Personal details will not be published. We only ask for contact details in case we need to verify data and to get in touch if a prize is won.

The deadline for responses is 5pm on Friday, 1 July 2016.
